THE CHURCH

The church although designed around 50 seats comfortably holds 65 and due to the flexibility of the design at a recent concert 100 people were seated. These concerts have been possible because none of the furniture is fixed and we can configure the space to fit the event. Our next concert is planned for Friday 16th of May “A musical evening” with the acclaimed flautist Simeon Wood. We hope to plan a new series of concerts for the coming year.

If worship with a difference is what you are looking for on the second Sunday of each month we enjoy a relaxed style of worship. Join us as you are stay a while or feel able to make the service reflect your needs.

If you are available on the third Wednesday in each month why not drop in on our lunch time service. It is only thirty minutes long and then we retire to the Community room for coffee and bring your lunch if you wish.

Our main morning worship is at 10:30 am. Our service of Holy Communion is once a month and if you do not wish to share in the Lord’s Supper just fold your arms.

We welcome children and because of it’s lay out it is a very safe environment for children. There is the Facility for Junior Church or to remain in the service with young children.

The Community Room

This positioned between the kitchen and the Church. Here we have coffee after the morning service. It is also the space where our meetings are held including Women’s fellowship, The Clarendon Ladies Group, Brownies and Guides the Craft club also meets here.

We do let this space to outside organizations as well as for family occasions. We have a strictly no Alcohol to be consumed or sold on the premises not just because we do not hold a permit but because it is part of whom we are by tradition. However we do have a local Alcohol Anonymous group that meet on a Thursday evening.
